Practice Success: use these Tips for a Stellar December

We cannot believe this but … 2025 is literally only WEEKS away! This year, like so many in the past, has flown by us! Yet, here we are. Let’s make this a stellar December and end of year! Today, we will focus on practice success.

Here are a few tips on how you can ensure you’re ending the year with a bang:

• Ensure all schedules are adequately full to goal and patients are scheduled appropriately
• Check procedures coding for accuracy (you learned this in November, remember?!)
• Get all of the collections in the bank that you possibly can, hound those insurance companies for last minute payments!
• Prep goals for next year if you haven’t already
• Get all of your trips/ vacations in the calendar now
• Prep your office manager for any fee increases that you’ll want to see changed in January!

There are loads of other items that you can focus on and we’ll happily share more ideas if you run through these! We wanted to keep it simple and really focus on moving the needle the furthest and quickest for an end of year wrap up!

BIG FOCUSES: finish out as much production on your schedule as possible and COLLECT it all! Get the insurance payments that you can and collect all of the copays and fees from your patients as they wrap up their treatment for the year.

PRO TIP: Don’t do yourself a disservice and provide free treatment (unless you want to!!!), make sure  patients are aware that they’ll have money due and help them find ways to pay it if their budgeting doesn’t allow for cash payments!
